Look to this day . . . for yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision . . . but today well-lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope.
I love comments. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts! And please, no swearing or anything else that might be inappropriate: bear in mind that I do have a lot of younger readers here.
This qoute is very awesome! Isabella E. Clinton
ReplyDeleteYeah! That's what I thought when I stumbled upon it yesterday. :)
ReplyDeleteIs that truly a picture of you? Oh then, you are so much as I would have imagined....and that is a good thing!
ReplyDelete:) No, it isn't me - it's a detail from a painting by Edmund Blair Leighton called The Hostage. Here's the link to view the full-size painting:

The girl in the painting does look very much like me, however, with the long wavy hair and all, which is partly why I chose this painting.
The way she is gazing out to sea also reminded me a little of myself - I thought "Yes, that would be me, staring into space and daydreaming." :)
I must confess I knew it must be a painting, but I thought maybe you had attempted to do a real-life "copy" of it.
