Nanowrimo. . .

Yep, I'm taking the plunge! This is my first attempt at Nanowrimo. The idea is to write a 50 000 word novel - in one month, November. LOL, I'll be doing well if I make it to 5000. . .

    Thanks! :-) Do consider giving it a go - I wasn't sure about it at first, either, but put it this way - you've got nothing to lose! It will probably be a fun, worth-while experience.

    Oh! I would like to add you! I have done and won Nanowrimo two years now and I am also doing it again this year! Hoorah! 50K seems like a lot of work, but if you achieve almost 2k per day, which is three pages, depending if it is all dialogue or paragraphs, you can make the goal easily. Hehe! :)

    If you've got the plot, then you've got a map!

    I usually start with characters--two or three quirky and contrasting personalities whom I think will be interesting to throw together--but I don't often know what to make them do beyond the first few scenes! =(
