Regency World Awards

P&P 2005

I guess I'm a bit out of the loop right now, when it comes to all things Austen, because I hadn't released that voting was now open for the Jane Austen's Regency World Awards! There's still time if you haven't voted yet (I hadn't until five minutes ago!) - voting closes on June 30th.

  1. I voted just last week. There were some interesting questions this time around, I look forward to hearing the results! :)

  2. I couldn't even answer some of those questions - I have never read an Austen inspired book and I hadn't even heard of those blogs - but it was fun nonetheless. The favorite Emma Woodhouse question was probably the hardest...

  3. Laurie, there were indeed some interesting questions. . . to be honest, I thought some of the questions seemed a bit trivial and silly - the kind of thing I would put a poll on my blog for, not what you would expect to be voting for in these awards! :P

Rebekah - I had a similar dilemma, too! I knew of most of the blogs, but I hadn't really read any of the Austenesque books mentioned. . .

I love comments. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts! And please, no swearing or anything else that might be inappropriate: bear in mind that I do have a lot of younger readers here.
