He did an amazing job!!!! Hope you are doing well, Elise!!!!

Hugs,
JenMrs. Ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07167732479027498107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7640277016633958889.post-49985390354771886962009-04-05T12:55:00.000+10:002009-04-05T12:55:00.000+10:00Emily - yes, Romola was brilliant as Gwendolen in ...Emily - yes, Romola was brilliant as Gwendolen in Daniel Deronda! It would have been a very difficult role to handle, but I thought she did a great job.

Clare - I agree! I'm looking forward to seeing Michael Gambon in this.

Laurie - I read the post on your blog, and I thought it was very good! If anyone wants to read Laurie's post, please CLICK HERE

Dawn Dancer - I was exactly the same! For some reason, Romola Garai never crossed my mind when I was thinking of potential Emmas. I can't believe that I never thought of her! She's perfect for the role!

Livi - yes, I know! :-D Three Jane Austen movies for JLM. . . is that a new record? Can anyone else think of any actors who have been in three or more JA movies? The Editrixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01184804847476554759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7640277016633958889.post-49800905886138689602009-04-05T11:57:00.000+10:002009-04-05T11:57:00.000+10:00lol, Jonny Lee Miller was in the 1983 Mansfield Pa...lol, Jonny Lee Miller was in the 1983 Mansfield Park too!Livihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04423541062156478872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7640277016633958889.post-8410022465176993042009-04-05T11:47:00.000+10:002009-04-05T11:47:00.000+10:00Oh! I can't stand they way the actor for Mr. Knightley LOOKS, but I have never seen him act. Michael Gambon seems to hale and hearty and big for Mr. Woodhouse... but maybe he'll just have a much different appearance than in movies I have seen him in. I never did end up finish Amazing Grace, but I loved her in Daniel Deronda...she seems like a perfect Emma to me.

I don't believe I've ever seen Jonny Lee Miller before, as I certainly didn't ever catch 1999's Mansfield Park.
