I must apologise. . .

. . .for the drought of posts! And unfortunately I can't airily assure you that there will be loads more posts in the next few weeks. We'll be going away for about a month in a few days, and I probably won't get much blogging done during our trip. Maybe the occasional update here and there, but that will probably be all. :-(

There might time be a post or two before we leave - we'll see.

Hope you're all well!

Blessings,
Elise

Hi Elise,

I discovered your blog a few weeks ago, and I have been an avid fan ever since! I've almost the entire history. I'm from a 20 year old girl from America, and we have so many of the same interests in common. I am also homeschooled, conservative, Christian, anti-feminist, and decidedly a bookworm and period drama fan. There are actually some of us left in California. I also like many of the same books and movies as you, such as The Lost Baron from your last post. I'm looking forward to your next posts!

I'm sorry that my post above was so bad. I had to go suddenly, so I didn't have time to double check the grammar. But I also wanted to say that I really appreciate the fact that you're not apologetic about mentioning God--many Christians are, especially where I live.

A month long trip sounds exciting yet daunting to me all at the same time. I am such a homebody. I hope all goes well with you and your family while you are away.

Hi Kari! It's lovely to meet you! Thanks for commenting. :-) And it's great to find someone else who loves "The Lost Baron". ;-)

Cathy - yes, it will be interesting, to say the least! It should be good, though. We've all been looking forward to this particular trip for a long time. . .

I hope your trip is going splendidly. This feminist, agnostic, radical liberal misses reading your always insightful postings!
