~A Damsel's Daybook - hosted by Autumn~
Outside my window.......... a warm, humid spring day. Too warm. I miss winter!! I wanna move to Tasmania! Or England! Or somewhere!
I am thinking about......... a friend.
I am creating ......... nothing at the moment. I need to find something to do with my hands - I don't feel like crocheting or knitting just now.
I am hearing....... Siblings, Rainbow Lorikeets, blue wrens.
I am hoping......... that the grand final replay ends in a result!
I am planning.......... to enjoy these school holidays - doing stuff with siblings and learning to sew (hopefully)!
I am wearing............ greeny-blue top and black tiered skirt.
Around the house.......... not much at the moment.

What!? Don't complain about heat, Spring and Summer are awesome! Ok, perhaps not so much where you live, but seriously, cold is TERRIBLE. You don't want it.
I laughed so much when I heard about the grand final, ;)
Hehe. . . I guess what I'd really like is our winter/autumn weather all year round. But the novelty of REAL cold would probably wear off pretty quickly. . . :P
I can sympathise about the heat. I live in the northern US, and it's warm in the summer, and very cold in the winter. I prefer the winter months, because I can always just curl up under a blanket or wear a heavier sweater. (I also like my winter clothes better than my summer clothes. It's easier to find stylish, MODEST attire in the winter.)
Winter's just beginning here in the UK, not that you'd notice: Summer came for a month before the icy rain commenced once more! And so it will continue, for the next 11 months of the year! *sigh*
Just a quick tip off - ITV have a new period drama, Downton Abbey, set just after the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. My friend saw it and said it was really great: I'm yet to watch it but the trailer looked pretty good. However, my cousin watched it and said she had to fast forward a few scenes, and she fears this plot point will be continued in future episodes, so may be hard to avoid. She wouldn't tell me exactly what she meant, but I hope it won't ruin it completely. But nontheless, I do look forward to watching it once I get a free moment.
I love your Damsel's Daybook posts - where did you get the idea from?
Sorry for the long comment! I'm an avid reader of your blog, thanks for writing such intelligent, insightful posts! (:
Yours,
Portia
Emm - yeah, that's another reason why winter's great - it's so much easier to find modest, stylish clothes!
Portia - yes, I've heard a lot about Downton Abbey on Charleybrown's blog! It sounds great - so many good actors. Thanks for the tip off - hmm, hopefully the series won't be ruined by too much unnecessary, inappropriate content. :-(
And thanks for your encouraging words! I love long comments. :-)
Oh, and the idea for ADD wasn't mine - it was Autumn's! :-) Check out her blog here: http://storygirlau.blogspot.com/
